Spirituality in Tantra

The cult and the philosophy of tantra has been shrouded in mystry and evokes connotations of black magic, sacrifices, cremation grounds, sexual orgies, occult powers - all of which seem to have a little connection with spirituality. Yet, Tantra is fundamentally a spiritual practice with the sole goal of transmutation of physical energies into psychic and sublimation of psychic energy into universal consciousness.

Sufism, Kaballah, Christian Mysticism, Buddhist Tantra, Jain Tantra, Hindu Tantra, Taoism - all share many essential elements of tantric tradition.
This presentation will go at the very core of essential world view of Tantra and its relevance to spiritual and social progress of modern-day humans. The science of tantra will be elaborated with the help of current understanding of bio-psychology.
